Raisonnai

Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 28, 2026

Raisonnai (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Raisonnai platform at raisonn.ai. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and account type. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We use this information only to create and maintain your account.

Catalogue data. Works, provenance records, exhibition history, bibliography, images, and other data you add to your catalogue. This is your data — you own it.

Usage data. We collect standard analytics: pages visited, features used, browser type, and IP address. We use this to improve the product.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Raisonnai platform
  • To process transactions and send related information (receipts, confirmations)
  • To send product updates and service communications
  • To respond to your requests and support inquiries
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse

3. AI processing

When you use AI-powered features (provenance parsing, natural language search, CV extraction), your data is sent to third-party AI providers for processing. These calls are server-side, scoped to the specific task, and not used to train AI models. If you connect your own AI to Raisonnai via MCP, those conversations are handled by your AI provider — we do not process or store them.

4. Google user data

If you sign in with Google, our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We access only your name, email address, and profile picture for account creation. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties except as needed to provide the service.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only in these circumstances:

  • Gallery authorization. If you authorize a gallery, they can access the catalogue fields you specify. You control this and can revoke it at any time.
  • Service providers. We use Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting), and Sentry (error monitoring). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.

6. Data retention

Your catalogue data is retained as long as your account is active. If you close your account, your data enters read-only mode and is retained for 12 months. After that, you can request deletion. We never delete your data without notice.

7. Your rights

You can:

  • Export your full catalogue at any time (JSON and CSV)
  • Request deletion of your account and data
  • Revoke authorizations
  • Update or correct your information through the platform

8. Security

We use row-level security, encrypted connections (TLS), and JWT-based authentication. Catalogue images are stored in private buckets with signed URLs. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled by Supabase Auth with bcrypt hashing.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
